"IT'S YOUR ROAD, AND YOURS ALONE.
OTHERS MAY WALK IT WITH YOU,
BUT NO-ONE CAN WALK IT FOR YOU."
WHAT TO EXPECT
I believe it is important to undertake some type of regular mentorship as a Doula and this is something I do in my own practice. The Doula community is diverse and full of experienced Birthworkers - it will be sure to enrich your practice and self-development!
In the first instance, let's have a chat!
It's important that we both feel comfortable with each other if we are going to work with each other.
If you choose to work with me, I would like us to have an open and honest relationship. I will encourage you to explore your goals and open your mind and heart to birthwork! I'm not afraid to ask those difficult questions or to challenge your belief systems or biases.
Not only do I have experience working with expectant and birthing families but I can offer you support with growing and developing your business including branding & logo design, business planning and social media & marketing strategies.
I am happy to support other birthworkers, such as midwives, antenatal teachers and hypnobirthing practitioners, who are looking for support with their birthy business. Working in the birth world can present you with very different challenges than in any other self-employed role requiring a different approach to marketing and social media strategies.
YOUR INVESTMENT: You can choose to work with me on an adhoc basis if you wish - a 90 minute session costs £45 I can also offer ongoing regular support - contact me to discuss your requirements.
I am also part of the team at Developing Doulas and provide business support as part of the advanced birthworker course, Doulavation. When you sign up to the course you get lifetime access to the online content which is continually updated. You also get lifetime access to the Doulavation Facebook community which includes regular and exclusive Live events and CPD courses to develop your knowledge and skills as a birthworker.

I am a Developing Doulas Doula Companion and can support you for birth and postnatal work.
Developing Doulas is a Doula UK approved course provider and as such, you are eligible to join Doula UK when undertaking the Developing Doulas Companionship Program if you wish but this is not mandatory.
You can choose to access Primary Companionship with me in one of three ways:
1. Pay as you go per client - I will support you virtually whilst you are supporting your client and you can debrief the experience with me when you finish. Per client you will pay £75 for birth or postnatal or £100 for birth and postnatal together. You will pay no more than £300 for just birth or postnatal support or £500 for both birth & postnatal to complete the Companionship Program and become 'Acknowledged'.
2. Pay £50 per month - Get continued ongoing support whether you have a client or not. This includes all debriefs and unlimited virtual support. It can also include help with marketing and social media.
3. Pay £300 for 6 months support - as 2. above but for a 6 month period
4. Pay £500 for 12 months support - as 2. above but for a 12 month period
I can also offer support to new Doulas that have done a Doula training course that is not Doula UK approved or who choose not to undertake the Doula UK mentorship program or the Developing Doulas Companionship program. Contact me for a chat!
