Ceremonial cacao is not your average chocolate.
It’s a sacred plant medicine traditionally used by Indigenous cultures for centuries to open the heart, deepen connection, and support emotional healing.

Our cacao comes from Peru and it's production helps to directly support both the local communities and the traditional farming methods. The cacao is farmed organically and helps to preserve biodiversity and natural resources. It retains it's purity through minimal processing which is markedly different to that of commercial chocolate. This is 100% cacao straight from the bean, that is ground down into cacao liquor. This means there are more health benefits and it supports physical and psychological well-being.

OIL OF THE MONTH

While cacao is generally safe and gentle, please keep the following in mind:

• Caffeine Sensitivity: Cacao contains theobromine, a mild stimulant. If you’re sensitive to caffeine, start with a lower dose.

• Antidepressants / SSRIs: High ceremonial doses may not be suitable for those taking SSRI or MAOI medications, due to interactions with cacao’s natural compounds (like tyramine and tryptophan).

• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Many choose to enjoy lower doses of cacao during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but consult with your healthcare provider if unsure.

• Hydration is Important: Ceremonial cacao is detoxifying and vasodilating—drink plenty of water before and after your ritual to support the body.

• Heart Conditions / High Blood Pressure: The stimulating effects of theobromine may not be suitable for people with certain heart conditions—consult your healthcare provider if in doubt.
